Arthur Horne
Arthur was born in Blackpool UK in 1955.
He worked as a teacher for 20 years before leaving the profession
In schools and studied Landscape gardening in order to
start his own business as a private landscaper.
He took up watercolour painting after a long period studying
art history and 20th century watercolour in particular.
He joined a collective studio in Lancaster in 1994
and began to exhibit and sell his work through solo and group shows
throughout the U.K.

Beit Haam Ashkelon on 2 occasions.
Arthur has been tutoring English and guitar and watercolour painting
since arriving in Israel in 2009 where he lives with his wife.
Among his other interests are English literature which he loves to
which he likes to develop links with paintings. He has recently
finished a hand written book manuscript of 50 of his own poems and
watercolour paintings. He is also seeking to work on commissions
in art and illustration.
